(Greendale, Ind.) - A four-vehicle accident shut down U.S. 50 in Greendale on Sunday.

Greendle Police Officer Scott Spinnati said the accident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle went left of center into the westbound lanes near McClure Way.

Three people were taken by ambulance to Dearborn County Hospital. Their names and conditions have not been released.

Spinnati said drugs or alcohol at not believed to be involved in the crash, which remains under investigation.
