(Hamilton County, Oh.) – Construction work is requiring a double lane closure on eastbound Interstate 74 at Ohio 128 this weekend.

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 8 office says one lane of eastbound I-74 will be closed beginning at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16 with a second lane closure to follow at 8:00 p.m.

All lanes will reopen to traffic by 7:00 a.m. Monday.

The closure will start near the west I-275/I-74 interchange and end just east of the bridge over Ohio 128.

Arrow boards and signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and bridge closures.

ODOT says motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
