Dearborn County dispatchers report that Stateline Road has reopened at the scene of an earlier accident involving a school bus.
The bus may have struck a load of lumber that was lost by a delivery truck near Georgetown Road at about 3:40 p.m. No injuries were reported in the accident.
The Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools bus did suffer damage in the wreck. It was towed away.
Children who were aboard the bus were transferred to a new school bus, which then continued the route dropping them off at home.
The accident remains under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department.

(Bright, Ind.) - Dearborn County police, fire, and EMS crews are responding to a crash involving a school bus on Stateline Road near Bright Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 3:40 just south of the intersection with Georgetown Road.
Witnesses report a delivery truck may have lost a load of lumber, which the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools bus then struck.
Dispatchers said no serious injuries have been reported in the accident.
Stateline Road is shut down at the crash scene, dispatchers advised. There is no estimation on when the road may reopen.
