Indiana gubernatorial candidate John Gregg (D) |
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Indiana’s Democrat candidate for governor will be in Dearborn County next week.
Former Indiana House Speaker John Gregg will have a campaign fundraising event at the Dearborn Adult Center in Lawrenceburg on Monday, August 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., said Greendale city councilman and former state representative Bob Bischoff.
The campaign is asking for a contribution of at least $20 per individual or $100 per couple to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Anyone interested in attending should call (317) 510-2163 to reserve a spot.
It’s Gregg’s first visit to Dearborn County since the May primary election. Republican gubernatorial candidate U.S. Congressman Mike Pence made his first general election campaign stop in the county on August 18.
