Timothy Grissett provided

(Erlanger, Ky.) - A man suspected of a murder in Erlanger was arrested on Wednesday in South Carolina.

The body of 26-year-old Tasha Nichole Campbell, of Cleves, was found dead in a home on Hulbert Avenue Monday. The resident of that home, Timothy Grissett, had disappeared.

Grissett, 50, who is missing his right leg, turned himself in to authorities in South Carolina. Police had warned that he may have been armed and dangerous.

The vehicle Grissett had been driving, a 2004 Honda Accord, was located in Newberry, South Carolina on Tuesday. It is unclear if the vehicle belonged to him or Campbell.

Erlanger Police are planning to bring Grissett back to Kenton County for questioning.

Campbell’s death remains under investigation. A cause of death has not been released.
