(Jefferson County, Ind.) - A Jefferson County father has been arrested accused of causing the death of his one-month-old son.

On Thursday, June 7, the child, Christopher Coy, was hospitalized and died two days later. An autopsy showed his cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

On Sunday evening, Indiana State Police detectives arrested the father, 30-year-old Christopher Coy.

Coy is held at the Jefferson County Jail in Madison on a preliminary charge of Neglect of a Dependant Resulting in Death. Investigators said more charges are possible.
