The local man who is accused of downloading and printing child pornography
on a library computer appeared in a Dearborn County courtroom Wednesday.
Bond for 58-year old Johnnie Ray Cook was set at $150,000. He pleaded not
guilty to 30 counts of possession of child pornography and a theft charge.
Cook was arrested when he returned to an old utility building on
Manchester Landing in Aurora where police uncovered hundreds of pieces of
child pornography. A temporary home had been set up in the basement of
the building.
