(Batesville, Ind.) - A traffic stop led to a Batesville teen being charged with possessing heroin.

Connor J. Ryan was stopped for a minor traffic violation on State Road 229 at Northside Drive in Batesville last Friday evening about 7:30.

A K9 officer hinted at drugs inside the car. Officers found a substance believed to be heroin.

Ryan, 19, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class D felony) and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor). He was taken to the Franklin County Jail in Brookville.
