The Ripley County Courthouse in
(Versailles, Ind.) – As the popularity of early voting, or casting an absentee ballot, grows in Indiana, local county clerks are offering a number of opportunities.
Ripley County Clerk Mary Ann McCoy says absentee voting will begin at the Ripley County Courthouse on Wednesday, October 12, the day after the voter registration deadline in Indiana passes.
The dates and hours for absentee voting at the courthouse in Versailles are as follows:
Wednesday, October 12
Friday, October 14
Monday, October 17
Wednesday, October 19
Friday, October 21
Monday, October 24
Wednesday, October 26
Friday, October 28
Beginning Monday, October 31 through Friday, November 4, absentee voting will be available each day.
The weekday hours are 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be extended hours on Saturday, October 29 and Saturday, November 5 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Absentee voting in the office will end at noon on Monday, November 5, 2011.
