(Osgood, Ind.) - A second arrest has been made in connection with an armed robbery at the G.A. Triplett Drug Store in Osgood.
Last week, David Ison, of Glenwood, Indiana, was charged with Attempted Armed Robbery (Class B Felony) for the May 9 pharmacy robbery in Ripley Circuit Court.
Ison, 46, is also being held as a person of interest in the September 25 massacre of five people in Franklin County. Ripley County Judge Carl Taul ordered Ison’s bond at $5 million after prosecutors presented evidence tying him to the murders of five people on Stipps Hill Road in Franklin County.
Indiana State Police arrested Amanda A. Napier, 34, also of Glenwood, on Friday for her involvement in the pharmacy robbery. Napier has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery (Class C Felony) and is being held in Decatur County before being transferred to Ripley County.
Investigators allege that Napier was with Ison the day of the robbery in Osgood, acting as the getaway driver.
Napier, whom media reports say is Ison’s girlfriend, has the same last name as four of the Franklin County murder victims. Indiana State Police said they did not know if she is related, but family members told WISH-TV in Indianapolis she is not.
As of Monday morning, Ison has not been charged for the five killings in Franklin County.
