(Aurora, Ind.) - The LST 325 is extending its visit to Aurora before making the voyage back to its home in Evansville.
Crowds descended upon the World War II-era ship all weekend, with long lines to take tours.
Because of the response, the organizers of the LST 325 visit have announced that the 4,080 ton ship will be at the Aurora Ferry Landing through Tuesday. The last day was supposed to be Sunday.
Tours Monday and Tuesday will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The LST 325 is scheduled to depart from Aurora on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
