(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The public can get a first look at the new P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County Humane Center Wednesday morning.
A ribbon cutting and open house is set for 10:30 at the new shelter at 200 Charles A. Liddle Drive in Lawrenceburg.
P.A.W.S. will begin overseeing stray pets caught by Dearborn County Animal Control officers in October. Animals won’t be transferred from the current Dearborn County Animal Shelter in Manchester until the end of September.
If you can’t make it to Wednesday’s ribbon cutting event, another open house is scheduled for Wednesday, October 12 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
