(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It appears a burglary and shooting suspect is no longer a threat to southeast Indiana residents, although he remains at-large.
William Gajdik was identified as a person of interest in connection with a home invasion and shooting in Logan Township and Bright on September 6.
Dearborn County Sheriff Mike Kreinhop says Gajdik has surfaced, this time in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Gajdik allegedly stole a car from a dealership there. The vehicle stolen is described as a white 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier with Iowa dealer tag D2405 0003.
Kreinhop noted that the black Ford Thunderbird that Gajdik had stolen from the shooting victim in Dearborn County has not been located.
The burglary and shooting investigations of September 6 are continuing.
