(Indianapolis, Ind.) - For the first time, country duo Sugarland is being named in four tort claims seeking damages from the stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair last month.
The claims submitted to the Indiana Attorney General are notification of a possible lawsuit.
The claims naming the band were filed by the families of Jenny Haskell and Christina Santiago, who were both killed.
Seven people were killed and around 40 others hurt when high winds ripped down the stage just before Sugarland's set was to start August 13.
