Update at 2:27 p.m.:
A Thursday morning house fire near Friendship has been ruled accidental by fire investigators.
Friendship Fire Department Assistant Chief Mark Jeffries said his department arrived on scene at 3553 South County Road 750 at about 10:14 to find the home fully involved in flames. The house is considered a complete loss.
Jeffries said a mother and her son were working outside the home. The son had gone back inside to look for something when he noticed the fire in the utility room.
Nobody was hurt in the blaze.
Firefighters with Friendship, Milan, and Dillsboro remained on scene until 12:03.
The family is being assisted by relatives and the local Red Cross.

(Friendship, Ind.) – Multiple fire departments were called to a large house fire near Friendship Thursday morning.
The blaze was reported at about 8:05 at a home on the 3600 block of County Road 750 East near Friendship, not far from the Dearborn-Ripley county line.
It is unclear if anybody was inside the home or was injured.
The Friendship Fire Department remained on scene investigating the fire as of 10:00 a.m.
Fire departments from Aurora and Dillsboro were called to assist.
