(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – United Way of Greater Cincinnati will kick off its 2011 Dearborn and Ohio counties campaign Thursday evening.
The organization sponsors more than 150 agencies focusing on education, income, and health in the tri-state.
The United Way in Dearborn and Ohio counties will have the celebration and announce a 2011 fundraising goal during Music on the River in downtown Lawrenceburg at 7:00 p.m. Radio personality Jim Scott will be there along with campaign chair and Dearborn County Councilmember Liz Morris.
On Wednesday, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati revealed its goal of $60.6 million.
One of the Dearborn and Ohio counties first fundraisers will be United Way Night at Willie's Sports Cafe in Hidden Valley on Thursday, September 15. Ten percent of the dinner proceeds will be donated.
The fundraising drive ends October 28.
