(Aurora, Ind.) - Aurora Police hope the public can help them track down a thief who went on a shopping spree at the victim’s expense.
A woman and her husband went for a walking at Lesko Park in Aurora on Tuesday, August 16. They left their vehicle locked with a window partially down.
The couple returned to the car, unbeknownst to them that a credit card had been taken. It became apparent later when the victim noticed that charges were being racked up on the card the same day.
The suspected thief captured on surveillance video at the Aurora Wal-Mart had also used the card at the Aurora Shell Station, Aurora Road Gas Station, and First Financial Bank. A total of $250 was charged at the stores.
Somebody broke into their car and took her purse… That day, about 250 dollars in charges were racked up at stores including the Aurora Wal-Mart… We have photos of the suspect on our website – ECO.com… If you can help identify the suspect, call Aurora Police.
Investigators believe the suspect was driving a newer model, dark blue SUV.
