(Boone County, Ky.) - A body part found on the banks of the Ohio River in Boone County belongs to a missing Vevay man.
The Kentucky Enquirer reports a limb found near Taylorsport on July 16, 2010 is that of Christopher McAllister the Boone County Coroner said Tuesday. DNA testing was used to match the body part with McAllister.
McAllister, 37, was believed to have drowned when he was working as a deckhand on a towboat that sank in the river in March 2010.
The Boone County Coroner will rule McAllister’s death as an accidental drowning. None of his other remains have been found.
