(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Tri-staters can look for some relief over the next several weeks at the gas pump despite a slight rise yesterday in oil prices.
GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick DeHaan says oil prices earlier this week were down about 25 percent from where they were just a few weeks ago.
Prices around the greater Cincinnati area are averaging $3.50 Thursday according to GasBuddy, down 18-cents from a week ago.
Local prices have fallen 16.3 percent since reaching an all-time high of $4.18 in early May.
Many stations in southeast Indiana remain in the $3.60 to $3.70 range. Most stations in Florence and Harrison have been reported at about $3.57.
