(Moores Hill, Ind.) - A Milan brother and sister are arrested for an assault and home invasion armed with a gun.

Lisa Campos, 32, had been in an argument with friends at an Aurora bar in the early morning hours of June 12 according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Dearborn Superior Court II by Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit detectives.

One of those friends, Darrell Cull, and the rest of the group left the bar, leaving Campos behind.

Campos and her brother, Tony Campos, 42, showed up at Cull’s home on Old State Road 350 in Moores Hill a few hours later. They had unscrewed the light bulb on the front porch.

Cull had gotten up during the night to go to his kitchen when he heard a tap at his door.

According to the affidavit, “Cull stated that the light wouldn’t come on so he cupped his hands to look out the window and he saw Lisa Campos. Cull said when he opened the door, Lisa stepped back and Tony Campos grabbed him by the throat and slammed him down.”

After forcing their way into the home, the Campos stomped, kicked, and punched Cull as he lay on the floor. The attack escalated further when Tony Campos stuck a gun under Cull’s chin.

Two other people staying at Cull’s home came to see the attack and were also threatened with the gun.

Another man and woman who were with the Campos’ and participated in the attack were not identified in the affidavit.

Tony and Lisa Campos were arrested July 27. Each remains held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center. Tony is held on $5,000 cash and $500,000 surety bond. Lisa is held on $1,000 cash and $100,000 surety.

They are each charged with Criminal Confinement with a Deadly Weapon (Class B Felony), Batter with a Deadly Weapon (Class C Felony), Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon (Class C Felony), and Burglary (Class A Felony).
