(Napoleon, Ind.) - A warrant carrying serious charges led Ripley County law enforcement to apprehend a Napoleon man Tuesday afternoon.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says they worked with police departments from Holton and Milan to catch Tony Ray Campos.
After receiving a tip about Campos‘ location, officers found Campos operating a 2003 maroon Trail Blazer and initiated a traffic stop. Campos, 42, was taken into custody without incident.
Campos was wanted out of Dearborn County for charges of Criminal Confinement, Burglary, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.
Campos is being held at the Ripley County Jail in Versailles until he can be transported to Dearborn County.
