Ohio 128 in Crosby Township.
(Crosby Township, Oh.) - A crash involving two motorcycles and two cars put three people in the hospital.
The accident happened just before 1:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 11600 block of Ohio Route 128 in Crosby Township when Pamela Whalen, 49, of Harrison, was driving a Dodge Magnum and struck a stopped Toyota Carolla from behind, according to Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies.
The impact pushed the stopped Corolla driven by Steven Newman, 48, of Lebanon, into the opposite lane of traffic where it struck two motorcycles.
Biker Steve Mahan, 56, of Cincinnati, was hurt and had to be flown by medical helicopter to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Deputies say Mahan was not wearing a helmet.
Amazingly, the other biker, Michael Stocker, 49, of Cincinnati, was not hurt despite being thrown from his motorcycle.
Whalen and Newman each suffered minor injuries as they were wearing seatbelts. They were treated and released from area hospitals.
The crash is still under investigation. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
