(Indianapolis, Ind.) - An autopsy is planned for today to try to determine if a decomposed body found in Indianapolis is that of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer.
The badly decomposed remains were found over the weekend in Fall Creek on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
The body was too badly decomposed to determine the age or race of the woman, and more tests are being conducted.
Bloomington Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are working together to see if the body is that of the missing 20-year-old student who has not been seen since early in the morning on June 3 in Bloomington.
