(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – It’s still more than most folks would like to be paying, but gas in the tri-state is getting cheaper by the day.
CincyGasPrices.com says the Cincinnati area’s average price for regular unleaded is $3.46 as of Wednesday morning. The national average is $3.64.
Prices locally have fallen about 28-cents in the past month. Drivers who fill up are now finding gas the cheapest it has been since mid-March.
Some of the cheapest prices in the tri-state can be found in St. Leon and Cleves, where stations were posting $3.49 Tuesday evening. Stations in Batesville, Versailles, Harrison, and Florence have been in the $3.50’s.
Most stations in Lawrenceburg, Aurora, and Rising Sun are selling fuel for about $3.74.
