(Versailles, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation announces the grant awards for the second cycle of small project grants for 2011.
Available funds to grant to the community come from Ripley County Community Foundation Community Granting Funds. The Foundation has set aside $20,000 to fund small projects for 2011 of $500 or less.
Those receiving funding this cycle include:
American Cancer Society, Southeast IN: $500 for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Southeast Indiana 5K;
Batesville American Legion: $500 for replacing the heating and cooling system/new siding and soffits;
Children’s Health Care: $500 for the Reach Out and Read literacy program;
Friendship Regional Sewer District: $500 for the Aerator Mooring Project;
Project T3: $500 for Totes for Tots and Teens;
Ripley County Chapter of the American Red Cross: $500 for technology update/replacement;
Ripley County Food Pantry: $500 for food for needy families;
Special Olympics Indiana-ROD: $500 for the 2011 Bowling Training and Competition;
Town of Osgood: $500 for a flash drive recorder.
Applications are now being accepted for the next Small Project Grant Cycle. These are due in our office by 4:00 pm on Monday, August 1st. Writeable applications are available on the RCCF website (www.rccfonline.org) Deadline for the other small grants is October 3rd -fourth cycle.
The RCCF Grants Committee has set the date for the 2011 Large Grants. Grant applications are now available on the Foundation’s website. (www.rccfonline.org) These applications are due to the office by Monday, August 15th at 4:00 pm. Grant guidelines are also available online at our web site. There is a cap of $10,000 for the large grants.
