A man seen on surveillance video using a
credit card stolen from a car in Burlington
(Burlington, Ky.) – Police are trying to track down a man who used a stolen credit card to make a purchase at an Elsmere convenience store.
A man’s car was broken into on Friday, June 3 at the YMCA on Veterans Way in Burlington. The thief stole the victim’s BlackBerry, cash, and a credit card among other items say Boone County Sheriff’s investigators.
The stolen card was then used by the man show in security video at three locations: the Marathon station in Florence at 6:56 p.m., followed by the Remke Grocery Store at 3960 Turkeyfoot Road in Elsmere at 7:07 p.m., and finally at the Speedway at 3204 Dixie Highway in Erlanger.
