(Madison, Ind.) – A wet spring has set back construction on a new Madison-Milton Bridge over the Ohio River.
The $103 million bridge to replace the current 82-year-old, two-lane bridge was originally scheduled to be completed in September 2012. Ground was broken last November.
Officials now say the completion has been pushed to November 2012.
The bridge handles about 11,000 vehicles a day crossing between Indiana and Kentucky.
