(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Starting in 2012, Hoosier vehicle owners will be able to order specialty license plates featuring Tony Stewart, Ducks Unlimited, and more.
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles has approved ten more specialty license plates for Hoosiers to choose from.
The new plates will bring the total number of different license plates available in the state to 99 when they become available in January 2012.
Among those approved for 2012 are plates for the Tony Stewart Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, the Indiana Patriot Guard Riders and the Indiana Youth Institute.
Specialty plates cost an additional $40, with $25 going to the cause behind the plate.
In 2010, Hoosiers purchased 442,573 specialty plates generating over $11 million for the sponsoring organizations.
