(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Tri-state motorists are breathing a sigh of relief as gas prices are on the decline.
Tracking website CincyGasPrices.com says the greater Cincinnati area’s average price for regular unleaded is $3.63 Tuesday.
That’s the lowest gas has been locally since April 1.
Prices have been on a steady downward trend since June 2 when they peaked at $3.98 a gallon. Local gas prices reached an all-time high of $4.19 on May 3.
Gas has remained high in southeast Indiana than other parts of the tri-state. Stations along U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg and Aurora were at $3.84 Tuesday morning, but Harrison stations were seen at $3.69.
