(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – She was elected to responsibly manage the Town of Moores Hill’s finances, not steal them.
Now, former clerk-treasurer Renee Hall has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
She was indicted in March on charges of Official Misconduct, Conversion, and Failure to Deposit Public Funds. Investigators allege the crimes took place between January 2007 and December 2009.
Hall, 54, appeared in court Monday. The terms of the plea are now under advisement with Dearborn Superior Court II Judge Sally Blankenship. It includes Hall pleading to the failure to deposit charge, which the other two charged against her could be dismissed.
Hall is scheduled to be sentenced July 21.
