(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Dillsboro Police may have busted a couple perps responsible for multiple burglaries in Dearborn County and surrounding areas.
Dillsboro officers were called to an apartment building on State Road 262 last Thursday, June 2 where the resident reported some of their belongings were stolen in an apparent burglary.
Police then learned that some of those stolen items were being sold by two men, one of whom lived in the same apartment building on SR 262.
A search of Anthony Davis’ apartment netted two truck loads of stolen property valued at more than $3,000.
Among the property was a flat screen television, a computer, Playstation 2, and 15 garbage bags filled with collectible WWE memorabilia.
Davis, 42, of Dillsboro, and Allen Petro, 18, of Scipio, are each charged with Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property.
Davis is held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center on a $10,000 cash and $100,000 surety bond. Petro is held on $5,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
