Update at 3:22 p.m.:
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Police have identified the man suspected of using a handgun to rob the U.S. Bank branch on Eads Parkway Friday morning.
Thomas Anthony Carr, 25, of Columbus, Ohio, is likely to face a number of charges.
Lawrenceburg Detective David Schneider says nobody was hurt in the robbery when Carr allegedly entered the bank around 9:10. He brandished a gun to hold the employees at bay while he swiped the cash.
As police responded to the scene they saw a car with a black male driver fitting the description of the suspect leaving the scene. A Dearborn County deputy attempted a traffic stop, but the driver would not stop.
The chase continued into the Hollywood Casino parking garage when Carr bailed on foot. He was apprehended after a few minutes without further incident.
Lawrenceburg Police say two officers were treated for injuries at Dearborn County Hospital.
Police would later confirm that the vehicle Carr used in the robbery was reported stolen.
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
Lawrenceburg Police were assisted by the Aurora Police Department, Greendale Police Department, Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department, Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit, and the Indiana State Police.
Update at 12:33 p.m.:
Lawrenceburg Police have confirmed they have caught the man suspected of holding up the U.S. Bank on Eads Parkway Friday morning.
The suspect entered the bank just after 9:00 a.m. showing tellers a silver handgun. He made off after ordering the bank employees into the vault.
Investigators are looking into whether the suspect is also responsible for a Tuesday night holdup at the Speedway gas station just a couple blocks away on Eads Parkway.

The U.S. Bank branch at 1203 U.S. 50-Eads Parkway was held up at gunpoint just after 9:00 a.m.
The suspect reportedly made the employees go into the vault as he fled the scene.
Police were looking for a black male wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses.
Within 10 minutes, officers apprehended a suspect in a short foot pursuit in the Oxbow Preserve, not far from the Hollywood Casino parking garage.
Lawrenceburg Police are investigating the robbery.
