Ugbe Ojile, Kenyatta Erkins, and Amy Hoover
(Cincinnati, Oh.) - She played a part in robbing about two dozen southeast Indiana casino patrons of their winnings.
Now, Amy Hoover has pleaded guilty to five counts of aggravated robbery in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court as part of an agreement with prosecutors. Four other charges were dismissed.
Hoover, 25, of Colerain Township, will be sentenced in June. She faces up to 50 years in prison, but is expected to receive the minimum sentence in exchange for her testimony against Kenyatta Erkins and Ugbe Ojile during their trials.
Hoover, Erkins, and Ojile are accused of following southeast Indiana riverboat casino winners home, then robbing them at gunpoint.
The group was caught last October when law enforcement and security at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg set up an undercover sting.
Hoover gave birth in jail earlier month to Erkins’ child. The baby is now living with Hoover’s mother in Michigan.
Erkins, 36, and Ojile, 34, are scheduled for trial May 16.
