(Versailles, Ind.) – Versailles residents who cannot wait until Election Day to cast a ballot will be able to submit theirs early beginning Monday.
Ripley County Clerk Mary Ann McCoy says absentee voting for the 2011 Town of Versailles Primary will be held Monday, April 25; Wednesday, April 27; and Friday, April 29 from 8:00 a.m. until noon and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Voting will also be held Monday, May 1 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
There will be absentee voting only on Saturday, April 30 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
Absentee voting is held in the Election Room of the Clerk’s office at the Ripley County Courthouse in Versailles.
There are no other primary races in Ripley County outside of Versailles. All voting precincts will be held at the Versailles Baptist Church.
Voters will choose three from among four Republican candidates for Town Council. They are John Holzer, Steve Mathes, Sue Meisberger, and Jim Roepke.
