(Madison, Ind.) - The spouse of a southeast Indiana prosecuting attorney is being charged with misdemeanor Battery.
Robert Hensley, 41, is the husband of Switzerland County Prosecutor Monica Hensley.
Madison Police say Hensley was arrested Tuesday accused of choking a referee at an AAU girls basketball game at E.O. Muncie Elementary School. Hensley reportedly disagreed with foul calls being made and walked onto the court during the game, putting the referee in a chokehold.
That referee, who has not been identified, was taken to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison as a precaution.
Hensley has since been released from the Jefferson County Jail after posting $500 bond.
