(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Home burglars in southeast Indiana are showing that they are becoming more persistent and prevalent.
Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate a burglary at a home on Walters Road in Sunman Monday. Electronics were taken during the break-in which occurred around 1:00 p.m.
A woman tells Eagle 99.3 she was leaving to take her son to school and say what she thought was a suspicious vehicle in the area. Sure enough, it turned out her neighbor had been broken into.
Dearborn County Deputy Dave Funch suggests that people who witness suspicious activity, people, or vehicles in their neighborhood call the police – no matter the time of day.
