(Whitewater Township, Oh.) – Motorists making their way to work in Cincinnati are finding it a slow go Thursday morning.
The Ohio Department of Transportation arranged new lane shifts overnight on Interstate 74 in a construction zone in Whitewater Township.
The shift affects both east and westbound lanes of traffic approaching the Miamitown/Ohio 128 exit.
Early morning motorists told Eagle 99.3 of the shift, saying it was uncommon. By 6:30 a.m., traffic had backed up to near the Dry Fork Road exit in Harrison.
ODOT said arrow boards and signs would be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the lane closures.
