(Cincinnati, Oh.) - It’s two years in prison for each of two men who broke into and stole from a Harrison church.
Vincent Huddleston, 21, and Robert Newhouse, 20, used a crowbar to break into St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on January 8.
They broke a stained glass window, attempted to rip the church’s tabernacle from the wall on the altar, and did hundreds of dollars in more damage. They even took $18 from the poor box.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Huddleston, of Cincinnati, was sentenced Tuesday. Newhouse, of Harrison, was given his time behind bars March 14. Each of them had earlier reached plea agreements resulting in convictions on charges of vandalism and breaking and entering.
The judge called each of them “stupid and mean.”
