(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Indiana House Democrats are heading back to Indiana Monday afternoon.
After a more than month-long standoff, the Democrats will be in session according to House Speaker Brian Bosma.
Democrats were striking since Feb. 22 over legislation they called anti-union.
House Speaker Bosma and minority leader Pat Bauer met last week with what the two called "positive results."
"I am encouraged that they will be returning since there is much work to be done," said State Rep. Jud McMillin (R-Brookville). "It will take many long days, but House Republicans are committed to working hard to make it through our calendar, which many important bills remain on."
