(Florence, Ky.) - It’s been six full months since Florence teenage Paige Johnson went missing, but police are not giving up the search for her.
The 17-year-old mother of a two-year-old daughter was last seen or heard from September 23, 2010.
A person of interest in her disappearance, Jacob Bumpass, remains in jail on a parole violation.
Bumpass was with Johnson that night and claims he dropped her off in downtown Covington, however, cell phone records show Bumpass’ cell phone “pinged” cell phone towers near East Fork State Park in Ohio’s Clermont County. A large search mission at the park in the weeks following Johnson’s disappearance turned up no clues.
Covington Police now think a third unnamed person may have been with Johnson and Bumpass the night she went missing. Investigators are trying to find and talk to that third person, reported to be a man.
Anybody who has information regarding Johnson’s disappearance with information should contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST.
