Indiana State Police invesitgators say an autopsy of teh body found Modnay evening in an Ohio County creek bed is that of a white male.
Investigators are still working to positively identify the person.
Update posted at 9:14 a.m.:
Indiana State Police say the body found in Ohio County Monday evening was in a creek bed near the Ohio River at Camp Shore Campground, off State Road 56.
An autopsy will be conducted later this morning at the Hamilton County Morgue in Cincinnati.
The decomposition of the body has made it difficult for investigators to determine a cause of death of identify the person.
Assisting the Indiana State Police with the investigation is Ohio County Sheriff’s Department and the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Authorities are working to identify a body found on the banks of the Ohio River near Rising Sun Monday.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze says a resident found the body near the river bank at Camp Shore Campground north of Rising Sun then reported it to police around 8:00 p.m.
Houze said investigators have not identified the person as they are currently unsure if the body is that of a male or female. An autopsy is scheduled.
