(Boone County, Ky.) - Boone County continued its booming popluation growth over the past decade, rocketing from Kentucky's eighth to fourth most populus county.
2010 Census numbers for Kentucky were released Thursday.
The data showed Boone County's population, now at 118, 8111 grew 38.2 percent from 2000 to 2010.
All other Northern Kentucky counties saw growth, but not like Boone. Population in Grant, Kenton, Campbell, Owen, and Gallatin counties were all between 14.9 and 0.0 percent.
The City of Florence witnessed similar growth of 27.2 percent to 29,951 residents.
