(Greendale, Ind.) - A Greendale restaurant worker is in jail accused of trying to deal drugs to his co-workers.
Benjamin Grace, 21, of Lawrenceburg, allegedly offered heroin and other drugs to employees at Buffalo’s Southwest Café on U.S. 50 last Sunday, March 13 according to a court affidavit.
Grace had offered on multiple occasions to sell other employees “hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana, and ‘anything else he wanted,’” the investigating officers said.
Those employees called Greendale Police, who found Grace standing next to his truck in the parking lot.
Officers allegedly saw Grace throw something under his truck. A search turned up a small amount of heroin in a bindle, a bag of marijuana, and rolling papers.
Grace was arrested and taken to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center. He is charged with Possession of a Narcotic Drug With Intent to Deliver (Class B Felony), Possession of Marijuana Over 30 Grams with Intent to Deliver (Class D Felony), Possession of Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor), and Obstruction of Justice (Class D Felony).
