(Washington, D.C.) - Governor Mitch Daniels is still not committing to a run for President next year.
In an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday, the Republican governor would not say if he will run for the White House and added he has plenty of time to make a decision.
“I am completely committed to the job I am in now. We are doing some very exciting things in Indiana to make our state better and that comes first. If deadlines pass, they do,” said Daniels.
Daniels was also asked about whether he would support Republican U.S. Senator Dick Lugar as he faces a primary challenge.
"If he wants another term, he ought to have it," Daniels said.
