(Aurora, Ind.) - An Aurora City Councilman will be allowed to run for re-election.
Aurora resident Frederick Stegemiller had filed a challenge to Brett Fehrman’s candidacy last month.
Stegemiller alleged Fehrman owned two homes, one of which he was living at outside the city limits.
In a hearing last Friday morning, the Dearborn County Election Board decided Fehrman can appear as a Republican candidate for Council At-Large on the ballot in 2011.
Fehrman faces Democrat Joe Milish in November. Neiter candidate has a challenger in the May primary.
