Adnan Secic will raise awareness by
participating in three extreme sports in
less than 24 hours around southeast
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A Cincinnati man is planning quite a busy day this coming Sunday, March 6.
Adnan Secic plans to ski, skydive, and scuba dive all in one day. The Bosnia native turned U.S. citizen is attempting to raise awareness for the Dearborn County Convention Visitors and Tourism Bureau’s Tour for the Cure efforts.
Tour for the Cure has been the bureau's ongoing endeavor to attract tourists to southeast Indiana while also raising money to fight breast cancer, a disease which has affected several of Secic's friends.
Adnan’s schedule will begin at 9:00 a.m. by skiing at Perfect North Slopes. He then heads up Interstate 74 to Skydive Greensburg at 11:00 a.m. His trek ends with scuba diving at Blue Springs Lake in Waldron, Ind. at 2:30 p.m.
Secic has plenty of experience in all three sports: 30 years skiing, 11 years skydiving, and six years underwater diving.
Tour for the Cure will be posting updates of Secic’s progress Sunday on their Facebook page.
If you want to contribute to support Secic and Tour for the Cure, go to the Dearborn County Convention Visitors and Tourism Bureau’s website. All donations go to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
