Stacey Lee Johnson, 32 Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center |
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A former teacher has reached a plea agreement after being charged with having a sexual relationship with a student.
Stacey Johnson, 32, was charged with four counts of felony Child Seduction last October. He was a Greendale Middle School teacher at the time having a relationship with a Lawrenceburg High School student.
Johnson pleaded guilty in Dearborn Superior Court I Monday. His sentencing has been scheduled for March 22.
The student told investigators she estimated the two had sexual intercourse between 10 and 15 times. Johnson said some of the encounters did occur at school.
Johnson resigned as a teacher with Lawrenceburg Community Schools following his arrest.
He bailed out of jail days after his arrest, but was re-arrested in December for violating the terms of his bond. Johnson was to have no contact with the victim, but her parents found evidence that the two were communicating on Facebook and contacted police.
