(Greendale, Ind.) - A woman is arrested after she misled police by telling them children had fallen out of her moving car.

Greendale Police were dispatched at about 9:50 Monday morning when Wendy Vogel, of Cincinnati, falsely reported two kids had fallen out of her car as she was driving on Interstate 275 near the Lawrenceburg-Greendale exit.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the woman had nobody with her.

Vogel, 46, has been arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She is held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center until her initial hearing in Dearborn County court Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
