Larry Wayne Anderson
Indiana State Police
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – He had been on the lam for years, but the law finally caught up with Larry Wayne Anderson Tuesday.
Indiana State Police say Anderson was wanted on a federal warrant issued out of U.S. District Court in Georgia for Failure to Pay Child Support in the southern state.
The 44-year-old had fled Georgia in 2006 and was living undetected in the Aurora and Lawrenceburg area since. He was currently living on Stateline Road in Dearborn County.
On Tuesday afternoon, state police Master Trooper Shaun Hannon, who is assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, took Anderson into custody at a home on Matterhorn Drive in Hidden Valley.
Anderson is now held at the Floyd County Jail in New Albany. Federal fugitives in Indiana are often housed there temporarily until their arraignment.
