Tracking website CincyGasPrices.com says the area’s average price today is $3.26 for a gallon of regular unleaded. It has not been that high since October 2008.
Stations in Aurora, Lawrenceburg, Harrison, and Cleves are at $3.29 as of Wednesday morning. In Florence, you might find it at $3.27.
Prices above $3.00 a gallon are rare in February. This time last year the tri-state was averaging $2.65.
